I grew up with a cat named Stripes. She didn’t have any, so I give my parents some points for creativity. Stripes was the best. We were born around the same time, and she lived until she was 18, so when I say we grew up together, I really mean it. She followed me around everywhere and made me the forever cat person I am today. That bond also shaped my specific architecture passion: veterinary clinics and hospitals. I sincerely appreciate veterinarians who prioritize “fear-free” treatment, as I prioritize Fear Free Design in all of my projects. That means putting our furry (and not so furry) friends at the heart and soul of each project. By separating dogs and cats, building spacious rooms that make animals and their owners feel comfortable, making waiting areas that allow owners to feel relaxed and supported, and prioritizing the health and safety of staff members, we are partnering with clinics to create a veterinary experience that puts pets first.
Our new website makes it easier than ever to plan your space. We have tools to design entire buildings, an ICU planner, and a cost analysis tool to give you an idea of how far your budget will go. You can also get inspiration from my previous projects by browsing the portfolio.
We hope you find these resources helpful, and we look forward to the opportunity to work together on your project!
There is nothing I love more than seeing a veterinarian’s dreams come to life in a building. I am proud to be a resource for people to envision their ultimate veterinary clinic. Whether you’re in the dream stage and take advantage of our Clinic Planner tool, or if you’re ready to begin your project, Capone Architecture is here for you.
